Thousands of Monks gather at the Royal Palace

Today is the final day of a week of national mourning for Cambodia’s King-Father Norodom Sihanouk who passed away Monday 15th of October. Thousands of Monks filed down Sisowath Quay from Wat Ounalom to the Royal Palace late afternoon, and it seems much of Phnom Penh joined them!

The King-Father will lie in state for 3 months at the Palace, before being cremated according to buddhist ritual.
