Sour S’dey Chnam Thmey!

Yesterday CWF staff and volunteers celebrated the Khmer New Year with blessings, delicious Khmer noodles, curry and barbeque, and some fun (but exhausting) Khmer games!

Loak Chakriya, a Buddhist monk and also one of our students, held a ‘sout mun’ (blessing ceremony) to wish us good luck, prosperity, good health (and beauty) in the year of the Dragon.

We also celebrated a volunteer birthday – happy birthday to Alysha!

Sour S’dey Chnam Thmey (happy new year), from everyone at Conversations With Foreigners. We wish all our students and volunteers good health, prosperity and luck for the coming year!
